the intro is kinda boring and after a while the song gets repetetive but that doesn't have to be negative, this is the kinda song that would go well on a dancefloor (extend it a few minutes).
Overall it's a good song but needs some variation.

Yeah very true, needs variation. I'm guessing this song didn't come out too well with all my hardstyle/ nustyle audience lol. It's a big change for me to be making this stuff. But don't think I've stopped making hardstyle, I still have a few still in WiP and I really hope to work on them. REALLY!

[Guitar vs Piano (8bit)]

actually

this was really awful.
The intro sucks and is too long or at least you should add something more to it.
The drums were really crappy, when they came in they made me think of anything but 8-bit, and i understand you didn't have any percussion that sounded like 8bit, download refx quadrasid and you're all set.
And some parts of the song sounds like "fear of the dark".
AND WHERE THE HELL IS THE GUITAR OR THE PIANO?!

Your review has confussed me.

You have acknowledged that I have no 8bit percussion meaning you have read SOME of the song description but you have failed to realise this is a cover.

Perhaps if you had listened to Goukisan's before hand you would have realised where the hell the Guitar and Piano are.

Try reading the author comments in the future ;D

here goes

an island in the carribean the year 1756 where a pirateship quietly entering the shore to plunder the village.
that's what my mind came up with :D
one thing though, the drums that came about 1.30 and the drums at the end, take them away :P the other percussion were cool though.

This is a poor site to get peoples opinion cause there are always some dumb turds that constantly bombs great songs with zeroes just to raise their own songs :P ive stopped uploading my "good songs" or even finished.

Overall, good work except for the drums :) i wish you all the luck!

Thanks! I was also wondering about those beats thinking they may be too abrupt. I put them in there just to change it up a little, so maybe I'll experiment a little more there.

I guess I want the opinion of the people here because most of them are the average Joe when it comes to music. If I were to ask some fellow colleagues or some professors or other classical composers I think the piece would become way too complicated if I followed their advice.

you need to get one thing right

and that's the mainmelody, be sure to use the same keytone for the bass and the mainmelody or else it sounds completely off.
And the synths in FL isn't that great if you don't do some serious mastering to it, i suggest you download the vst "nexus" and all the expansions for it.
